How “Greening” Your Business Can Build Your Brand

           In the entrepreneurial world, it may seem difficult to nearly impossible to differentiate yourself from the big businesses that control our nation. But as corporate responsibility and sustainability become bigger buzz words in the ears on consumers, “greening” your business has never been easier or more profitable. Currently the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing Green Power Partnerships with companies looking to run their businesses with green power. The EPA recently issued an up to date list of companies choosing to go with clean renewable electricity (solar, wind, and low impact hydropower). Some of the corporate giants such as Intel, Kohl’s, and Microsoft topped the list with their already massive footprints; but this is not to overshadow the smaller companies that dominated the list with 100% green power.
